Make a difference and become an fp.c foster carer in Reading

Reading has a significant shortfall of foster carers, of all kinds. It is our goal to ensure that every Reading child who requires fostering is matched with foster carers. In order to do this we are working to ensure that there are sufficient foster carers in the Reading area. This is an important goal because local placement allows children to continue and thrive at existing schools, retain important connections and bonds with friends and family, and where it is the right plan for the child, in the longer run it can facilitate arrangements for a child to return to their family.
