What does it cost to use our service? |

The cost of providing a criminal records checks is made up of two parts. You will be charged the fee that the Criminal Records Bureau levy for the relevant level of check plus an admin fee of between £7-10 in respect of each application. The Criminal Records Bureau currently charges £36 for an enhanced level check and £31 for a standard level check for people in paid employment. The Criminal Records Bureau does not currently levy a fee in respect of applications from volunteers.
In general terms, a volunteer is defined as someone who does not receive remuneration in cash or kind in respect of activiites undertaken within the volunteer role.
We do not charge any form of set up or initial registration fee.

| Registration Process |
Registration is free and there are no ongoing subscription costs.
We do not require any minimum number of applications from our clients.
In the process of registering to use our service, you will be asked to nominate a person in your organisation to be our main contact and to act as a signatory in respect of identity checking.
We provide the nominated person with guidance in respect of policies on recruitment of ex-offenders, and on handling and storage of the sensitive personal data arising from disclosures.
During the registration process, we will ask you to countersign an agreement form.
This agreement does not commit you to using our service on an ongoing basis,nor to any financial commitment other than payment of fees due at the time of applications. The agreeement sets out the general financial terms, alongside details of how our respective agencies will work together and seeks confirmation that your organisation will adhere to the CRB code of practice.
On receipt of your completed registration and agreement form,we will forward as many Disclosure Application Forms to you as you think you will need in the next period. You can start making applications immediately following receipt of these forms.
